Shamit Mehta

Shamit Mehta joined TZP Group as a Partner in August 2019. Mr. Mehta began his career operating his family’s commercial printing business through a turnaround. In 2004, he joined Deutsche Bank where he focused on mergers and acquisitions in the technology sector. In 2006, he joined Great Hill Partners where he focused on growth equity and buyout transactions in the software, tech-enabled and healthcare sectors. In 2011, he joined Susquehanna Growth Equity where he led growth equity transactions in the software and business services sectors. In 2014, he joined Guidepost Growth Equity (fka North Bridge Growth Equity) which focused on technology and tech-enabled investments in founder-led companies. He led the sourcing, execution and management of numerous transactions. Shamit has assisted and advised several management teams through his leadership on the board. Shamit serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Evergent Technologies, Inc., Bullpen Sports Network, Inc. (d/b/a Wave Sports + Entertainment), and Finzly, Inc. 

Mr. Mehta received his B.S. and M.S. in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University and his MBA from Columbia Business School.
