TZP Group Bolsters Team with Key New Hires and Promotions

TZP Group today announced a series of key new hires and promotions to strengthen its investment team. The firm has welcomed Shamit Mehta as Partner for Growth Equity, JoAnne Kruse as Portfolio Operations Partner for Talent, Michael Khutorsky as Principal, Jarrad Berman as Portfolio Operations Vice President for Digital, and Marco Luy as Associate. Sheera Michael has been promoted to Partner, Harrison Davis to Principal, and Matt Doherty, Manvir Heir and Ryan McCarthy have each been promoted to Senior Associate.

Shamit Mehta joins from Guidepost Growth Equity with a focus on B2B software and will lead growth equity investments. Michael Khutorsky joins from Tower Three Partners and will handle sourcing and portfolio management for Capital Partners. Marco Luy joins from Guggenheim Partners and will join the Capital Partners team. JoAnne Kruse brings more than 30 years of human resources experience, most recently as Chief Human Resources Officer of American Express Global Business Travel, and will advise on talent management across the portfolio. Jarrad Berman, formerly Global Head of eCommerce Marketing at Facebook, will support digital transformation and monetization initiatives across TZP's portfolio companies.

Sheera Michael, TZP's Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer since the firm's founding, has been named Partner. Harrison Davis, a Senior Associate since 2015, has been promoted to Principal at Small Cap Partners.
