Soccer Post Acquires Stefans Soccer, Increasing the Local Community Footprint of the Largest Soccer Specialty Retailer in the United States

Soccer Post, America's largest community-focused soccer specialty retailer, has finalized its acquisition of Stefans Soccer. The Milwaukee-based target operated three retail locations across the greater Milwaukee area since its 1965 founding. The deal expands Soccer Post's geographic footprint and strengthens its regional presence.

The acquisition deepens Soccer Post's market penetration in the Upper Midwest. Blake Sonnek-Schmelz, Soccer Post's CEO, emphasized the strategic fit: "Stefans connection to the soccer communities throughout Wisconsin and neighboring states extends across multiple decades." He noted that joining the Soccer Post family would help build out the market while maintaining Stefans' community-focused heritage.

Anne Nowakowski, Stefans Soccer co-owner, highlighted alignment between the two organizations.
