Company of the Month: Connecting the future, Hylan is providing crucial technology options for urban planners and developers
The New York Real Estate Journal profiled Hylan, a communications and electrical infrastructure contractor, as its November 2018 "Company of the Month" for its work building smart-city and 5G-ready infrastructure for urban developers. The piece traces Hylan's growth from a 1960 family electrical contracting business into a multi-state telecom and utility construction firm, noting that TZP Group and Flexis Capital made a strategic investment in 2016 that helped fund acquisitions including Arcturus Telecom, Down Under Construction, and Tetra Tech Utility. CEO Robert DiLeo said the firm stands out because it does "all of our services in-house."
