Bedding Industries of America Joins Forces with Saatva

Saatva's press room reports that Bedding Industries of America (BIA), a New Jersey-based mattress manufacturer with plants in New Jersey, Chicago, and Rialto, California, has merged with Saatva, the direct-to-consumer mattress and bedding retailer, formalizing a manufacturing relationship the two had maintained since Saatva's founding in 2010. BIA makes mattresses under several brands, including Saatva, Eclipse, Eastman House, Millbrook, and Ernest Hemingway. Saatva CEO Ron Rudzin called the deal "a natural evolution" that gives the company end-to-end control of its supply chain. The item also notes Saatva operates 13 showrooms nationally, with six more planned for early 2024.
